What an unforgettable evening.
Last month’s Paint Fundraiser was nothing short of remarkable. My heart is still full from witnessing so many people from our community come together with one purpose: to help support my pilgrimage to Accra, Ghana.
Walking in, easels full, laughter rising, strangers becoming friends over paint reminded me community is life’s greatest artwork, each brushstroke holding hope and care.
The room was filled with joy as new artists discovered their creativity. It was never just about painting. It was about community and connection.
One of my favorite moments was simply walking around the room, offering guidance, sharing stories, and celebrating everyone’s artistic journey. The joy on people’s faces said everything. It was never just about painting. It was about connection, belonging, and believing in a dream together.
This pilgrimage means more than travel. It is a chance to connect with my ancestral roots in Ghana, learn from its people and culture, and return with wisdom and inspiration to pour back into my community. Your support makes this journey possible, and I carry you with me every step.
