Art with Heart: Type 1 Diabetes Camp Fundraiser

$12.99

Art With Heart

For the month of April 2022 we decided to rally around Type 1 Diabetics and their families.  We were able to locate an overnight camp that is staffed with doctors, nurses and trained camp counselors who will care for the T1D campers.   This camp gives the children a place to make friends, build community and see other humans living with the same health condition they are in.  We would like to raise money for camp scholarships for at least 5 children.  This will help ease the financial burden for families who are already paying as much as $300 for a bottle of insulin, it will give families peace of mind knowing their child is going to be safe at camp, and most importantly we will help make sure Type 1 Diabetic children can have a week of fun surrounded by people just like them.
